Datawind & Aakash - past present and future
Promptly replying to our email and call after learning about us (Knowledgefaber) and our request, Suneet Singh Tuli is a very busy yet a humble and accessible man. He has a herculean task at hand. People talk about Datawind, a company he founded along with his family members about a decade ago, in different tones "small tech shop" "flash in the pan" "company in news" "game changers". Little known to the masses is the fact that Datawind has been working on PDAs and web platforms and their integration for as long as anybody in the world has been working on them (2004 onwards). So we wanted to give the due credit to the makers of devices like pocket surfer that came much before Aakash.
